I want to go wedding dress shopping this weekend for the first time, and I know many places highly recommend you make an appointment first. I was just wondering if this is too short of notice?

nope call right now, FYI this is peak bridal season so many bridal stores will be packed especially on the weekends. So call right away. Try to be the first one in the morning at your #1 store so the store will be nice and neat and all the dresses will be on the rack instead of someone else’s fitting room and the consultants will be fresh and not stressed out.
I think as long as you have given them time for it, they should have no problem. Just call and see the availability tonight.
It depends on the places that you would like to go. If you have a store in mind, call them…they may have openings available. Also, a lot of the time you can justs show up. Unless a place is REALLY busy, they are not going to turn away a potential sale.
Call and ask them. My fiance told me this a past mon. that she was goin sunday(yesterday) and she ended up buying one that day. she went to David’s bridal.
Depends on the place you go. I didn’t make a single appointment and had a blast going dress shopping. Be careful shopping on a Saturday though, there’s going to be a lot of women who got engaged at Christmas or New Years that’ll be looking for dresses. If it’s at all possible to go during the week you’ll find that you’ll get better service and won’t have to wait for a change room.
9-12 months prior this is a special day nothing worse then stressing about a dress.
